Redevelopment Mission

What does it mean to be in mission?

Mission means the grassroots mobilization of passionate Jesus communities that are witnesses to the resurrection for the sake of the world.

What does it mean to be a redevelopment mission?

Redevelopment is the intentional, structure, strategic, holistic renewal process that stewards discernment of the congregation's purpose, guiding principles, missional plan and identity to re-root in the community and God's mission in the world.

Where does God state we are to be in mission?

We are supposed to build relationships by loving God and loving our neighbor. (Matthew 22:34-40)

We are supposed to go make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20)

We are supposed to be equipped and equip others. (Acts 1:8)

We are sent to bring good news to the poor, to proclaim release to the captives, recover sight to the blind and let the oppressed go free. (Luke 4:16-21)

There are three questions we are seeking to address as we refocus at this time ...

Who are we?

Who is our neighbor?

What are we here for?
